Blue Hole (Shore Dive)
Depth: 35 Meters
The best entry method for this site is the Giant stride entry, from the jetty. At high tide it is best to perform a snorkel swim out to a buoyed anchor line, once in the water. This will take you down to a 12 metre sandy bottom. The reef wall takes you to the right of the bay and at a given point you must then veer of to the left where you will be able to spot the Blue Hole as you descend deeper. The Hole leads down through the reef and out the other side into the deep blue waters of the Atlantic. This dive is from 25-35 metres in depth. Apart from many divers, this site is visited by great barracuda, grouper and Angel shark. A torch is ideal on this dive to explore the inner caves of the Blue Hole.
