If you are already SSI Open Water and would like to continue discovering the seabed and marine life of Lanzarote, going even further, the next step is the SSI Advanced Adventurer course. This course will allow you to dive up to 30 meters deep, anywhere in the world.
SSI Advanced Adventurer course in Lanzarote is one of the most fun and enriching courses for divers. It consists of five adventure dives that will allow you to try different diving specialties.
Lanzarote, in Canary Islands, is an ideal place to get SSI Advanced certification. The seabed of the island and the diving conditions are one of the best of Europe. At Dawn Dives Academy, we know them as home. Despite of been based in Playa Blanca, we dive throughout the island.
Program
Choose the specialties you like more.
At Dawn Dives Academy we customize the Advanced course to your interests, so you can choose from several specialties to do the 5 adventure dives.
Navigation and Deep Diving specialities are mandatory, but they are between the most useful and fun. In the navigation dive you will get a better underwater control and orientation using the compass and in the deep dive (maximum 30 meters) you will exceed 18 meters for the first time.
For the rest of the dives you can choose between the advanced specialties, the most common are: night dive, underwater photography, wreck dive (sunken ships), nitrox or enriched air, fish identification, search and recovery specialty, etc.
Ask us and we will advise you on which specialties are best for you.
In addition to the 5 dives there is a small theoretical part, but do not stress, much smaller than the Open Water one.
If you have special needs you can continue doing the SSI Advanced Adventurer with us. We will inform you.

How Long is the SSI Advanced Adventurer Course?
The SSI Advanced Adventure course lasts two to three days, depending on your availability and your choice on how to do the knowledge development.
How Deep Can I Dive with the Advanced Adventure Certification?
30 meters as long as the deep adventure dive is carried out.
Is Prior Knowledge or Diving Experience Necessary?
Yes, you will need Open Water certification or equivalent.
What is the Learning Process in the Course?
The course is divided into two parts:
Knowledge development: You will learn the basic principles of the types of diving to be carried out, either online or in our classroom.
Open water dives: You will apply what you have learned in open water, performing a total of 5 dives.
What Do I Need to Enroll in the SSI Advanced Adventurer Course?
Minimum age of 10 years. Some dives require a higher minimum age, please consult us.
Complete the diver medical report.
Download the MySSI app, register, and select Dawn Dives Academy as your training center.
Make the payment before the start of the course.
