We offer a personalized learning program and a lot of practice, so you can become the best PADI Divemaster.
At Dawn Dives Lanzarote, we suggest you to do it in the best way, joining our team, so you can live a dive center from inside. You will learn not only the diving technique and experience, but also to manage and the day to day of a diving center, very important in order to find work as Divemaster.
We propose that you join the dive center for 2 to 4 months (according to previous qualifications), starting as an assistant and gradually gaining prominence, until you gain the necessary confidence of a Divemaster. You will transform from a normal diver, one observer, to a group leader, a diving reference.
In addition to underwater learning, you will also learn to deal with customers, anticipate their fears and concerns, solve problems in and out of the water, load tanks, repair equipment, etc. Issues that are not learned in a course, but that are learned by working in a dive center, serious and professional which meets all standards.
At Dawn Dives Lanzarote we are commited to train you as a diving professional, to become the best Divemaster. In return we want you to have the attitude to learn, evolve and help others, and of course, to enjoy what you do. We have been training diving professionals for 10 years, with whom we mostly maintain contact and they encourage us to continue with our training system, because of the high number of students working in diving around the world currently.
To become a PADI Divemaster, you have to:
- Be over 18 years
- Have at least 20 dives in your logbook.
- Be Open Water Diver or equivalent.
- Have a medical certificate that enables you to practice diving.
Some of the tasks you will perform as part of the Divemaster course are:
- Organization and guide diving trips.
- Anticipation of problems and unforeseen events (risk management).
- Knowledge of the environment and transmission of your experience.
- Organization of a diving center.
- Instructor assistance in training courses.
- Mapping of a new dive area, including the emergency plan.

If after completing the PADI Divemaster program, you want to continue with your diving training, you can continue with us. The next step would be to become an PADI Instructor (Open Water Scuba Instructor). In Dawn Dives, we make two courses a year. Maintaining our commitment to the training and quality of our courses.
