Focused for all those who are looking to extend the limits of recreational diving, technical diving is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular sports within the reach of human beings, giving us the possibility to visit places that very few lucky people have the opportunity to get to.

Lanzarote offers ideal conditions, due to its great depth, water clarity, variety of landscapes, large structures and incredible abundance and variety of marine life.

Our technical diving and exploration courses are based on the highest standards of quality and safety (all the courses taught are compatible with the DIR philosophy and have the ISO 9001 certificate).

All courses are fully customized and adapted to the needs of each student, although all courses follow a similar scheme: exercises out of the water + team workshop + training underwater + theory and video de-briefings, all students are recorded in video almost constantly to be able to work a posteriori on these and also to give the divers the opportunity to objectively see their evolution and development.

At Dawn Dives Academy, we train divers, we do not sell cards.

Try Tek Diving

Introduction

The ideal program if you are not sure that technical diving is your thing.

The instructor will show you the advantages of this diving mode and will guide you during a “technical” dive without decompression.

100 Eur. Per person (in case of deciding to continue with the course “Fundamentals of Tech diving” will be deducted from the final price of the course).

PSAI Fundamentals of Technical Diving

Duration:
5 days
Introduction

During this course you will learn everything you need to start your career as a technical diver (trim, buoyancy, all the techniques of flapping and position, configuration of Hogartiana equipment, decompression procedures, double bottle and bottles of stage to extend background time, nitrox, use of reels, lines and buoys, communication with light, immersion planning, diving in equipment etc. This is without a doubt the most complete and most important course in your future career as a technical diver.

Remember that the essential thing is to acquire a good base.

PSAI Extended Range Diver

Duration:
5 days
Introduction

This course will allow you to perform decompressions using decompressive mixtures of up to 100% O2 with a maximum of two stages and using air or nitrox as the background gas. During the course you will learn different decompressive models, such as Bulhman (GF) or Ratio Deco (Deco on the fly). Among other things you will learn how to plan and perform your deco, control your exposure to oxygen and perform technical dives in a 100% controlled and safe way.

Trimix Courses

Duration:
6 days
Introduction

For lovers of deep diving the use of trimix (helium, oxygen and nitrogen) is a must. During these courses you will discover the tremendous advantages of helium and its characteristics and effects, as well as the procedures required to safely dive with trimix.

Options

NV1: PSAI Trimix Fundamentals (Max. 60 Meters – Trimix Normoxic) 5 Days – 800 €
NV2: Expedition Trimix (Max. 75 Meters – Trimix Hypoxic) 5 Days – 800 €

Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. Celso ha sido un instructor estupendo y Claudia ha estado muy pendiente todo el rato de nosotros, principalmente de mi que era mi primera vez. Es un bautismo muy completo y a diferencia de otros es un acierto que la formación la hagan en piscina ya que te ayuda más a la hora de aprender a manejar la respiración bajo el agua. A huge & special thanks to Hervé 🤩👌 He's always having a big big smile and took the time to listen to us & give good advices to all of us for enjoying as much as possible our dive in Lanzarote, whatever it was for security or being able to see life underwater, even if it was during the day, by night or with the scooter. All the experiences were just incredible and fantastic. What a pleasure to prepare the different dives with him... and to share the smile and the experiences after we've done it. Herve is a really sweet guy, responsible and still really carefull with a lot of understanding. We came with a group of 12 students leaded by Bruno Montiel, from a french highschool. And we are all very pleased by the magical experience that we shared with Hervé. We did appreciate his diving ability & also his human quality... and that is not the less important for us and the education that we wanted to give to our kids. I will definitely recommand him if you come to Lanzarote for diving. We already did the experience several times in the last 4 or 5 years now.... and we're ready to do it again next year🤩 Thank u so much and can't wait to dive again with Dawn dive academy. J'organise des séjours plongées pour le Lycée Paul Eluard de Saint Junien (87) avec Hervé et Pépé depuis 2019. Cela démontre toute la compétenceb toute la rigueur et toute l'humanité de ces hommes et de leur équipe. Des centaines de plongée au Museo, sur épaves, de nuit, en scooter, des profondes, des grottes..le tout avec un matériel de qualité et une sécurité irréprochable!
