Enriched Air Diver
(Nitrox)

Introduction

The Nitrox or Enriched Air Diver course is one of the most widespread specialties, as it teaches and certifies to use gas mixtures with more oxygen than air (21%), up to 40% oxygen.

The main advantage of using nitrox is to increase the bottom time, making dives much longer. In addition, it allows a safer dive by reducing nitrogen absorption.

During the course, you will learn to use nitrox safely, calculate the best mix for each depth, plan your dives with nitrox and analyze the gases.

We have enriched air bottles and equipment, and our instructors are experts in gas mixture.

Deep Diver (up to 40m)

Introduction

Deep diving specialty, along with nitrox, is the most widespread among divers, because it allows to overcome the 30-meter barrier to reach 40 meters, maximum depth in recreational diving.

During the deep specialty we will teach you to control the situation to a greater depth, identifying and controlling the effects of narcosis, and managing the appropriate techniques.

At Dawn Dives Academy, we do 4 dives, always personalized and in small groups.

Wreck Diving

Introduction

The relentless ocean stores history for centuries in sunken ships and wrecks that were dragged to its bottoms. Treasures from other times.

To explore them closely and penetrate into them you need a specific training that is obtained in the Wrecks diving specialty. It is one of the most exciting diving modalities.

This course consists of 2 dives in which you will learn to maintain control at all times exploring wrecks, mapping ships, setting up guidelines and managing risks.

In Lanzarote we have several very interesting wrecks where we train for the course: some of the most famous are the wrecks of Puerto del Carmen and the wrecks of the Quíquere.

Scooter Diving (DPV)

Introduction

One of the most fun specialty diving courses, in which you will learn to drive an underwater scooter in Lanzarote.

Thus you can travel much longer distances, find more and different marine life (even pelagic species), and all with hardly any effort. The problem will be to flap again.

The course consists of 2 pure adrenaline dives and we also include maintenance and configuration of the scooters.

Underwater Photography

Introduction

We all like to have good memories of our dives. We took hundreds of photos but when we got home and look at the card, they are not as expected. Indeed, water distorts light, colors and dimensions, so it must be taken into account when shooting the camera.

The art of underwater photography requires much more than having a good camera. You can take amazing diving photos with low or medium range cameras (GoPro type) if you know how.

In this course, our underwater photographer will teach you how to properly use the camera and control factors such as light, viewing angle, marine life behavior, how to approach species, etc. in 2 dives.
